I also have a question about the early bird tickets. I am an existing season ticket holder but can't afford to renew in the 1 March to 1 April window so will do so later in the summer. However, I would like to keep my existing seat. Will I still be able to do that if I book later or will that go if I don't use the early bird offer?
cheers

Hi Shrews65

Sorry about the delay in getting back to you, I've been off for 2 days!

Yes we are offering the finance option again, through Zebra Finance. I am waiting for their application leaflets to arrive, hopefully tomorrow, if you let me have your Supporter Number I will post one out to you.

Hi Judy
Thanks for your reply to my question about the finance option for early bird season ticket offer. My supporters number is 3249. That would be great if you could post me a form for the finance option. Thanks for your help.

I was discussing this with some people at work today and nobody has recieved anything from club informing them of this offer. After a bit we realised that if you haven't got the internet you wouldn't even know this was happening - as was the case with a couple of them- they only knew because I told them!!!

Why has no communication been sent out to current season ticket holders to inform and encourage them to take this up? Is it because you want to be able to say you made the offer but want the take up to be minimal? Is it so that you exclude the people like my mum who don't have the internet?

Or is it because you want masses of complaints from season ticket holders who find out about this too late which then means you can take the money off people now then extend the offer to everyone else like last year?

Whatever the reason this is very poor customer service and shows a lack thought and business sense.

Hello
In response to your comments regarding the communication regarding the early bird offer I would like to make the following comments.
The Season Tickets were promoted through the following
Shropshire Star
Chronicle
Web Site
E mail Data base
Match Day programmes
and an Insert in the match day programme against Rochdale.
PA Announcements

We felt the above was an approporiate response to making season ticket holders aware of the offer - Postage and Printing is now a significant cost to any organisation like ours(to do this in this case would have been a cost of over £1,000) and my role is as much as generating Income but to also reduce expenditure but of course this is a fine balance to acheive.

There is no intention at all to deceive the supporter base but it was an offer we wanted to make to the supporters who renew year on year regardless of the teams performance and to keep these price as low as possible.

The price does increase on Aprl 2nd but in context in real terms the cost per game rises by a just over £1 which is still exceptional value. Thank you for your comments and all of your support it is appreciated.

Kind Regards
