So, what is the latest with this?

We have had the predictable "it is being looked into" cliche a few weeks ago. HAS it been looked at yet?

Or is it going to be another case of "it sounds great when the ground is empty, you will have to make do" ?

A larger and better image quality one needed. We could call it "Lenny-Vision"

Lot's of comments about the improvement at the last game, guessing you didn't notice? Which part of the ground are you in Geoff?

Ian - As the OP referred to safety aspects of an inadequate PA system during the Port Vale match evacuation, surely this topic merits an appropriate response from Ian Bebbington, rather than your rather casual reply.

There are still many fans in the back rows of the West Stand who struggle to hear any announcements, be they the introduction of guest old stars, the half-time scores, the Golden Gamble winning number, etc., or, more vital information like the need to leave the stadium during an emergency.

Of course we were pleased that the stadium evacuation was achieved successfully, and officials should be congratulated for their efforts in achieving this. However, if you are under any illusion that the PA is fit for purpose throughout the stadium, please think again.

If the Club has no intention of undertaking a proper evaluation of the effectiveness of the existing PA system, and taking the appropriate steps to upgrade it, then the only course of action may be to challenge the stadium's safety certificate. A last resort that should not have to enter one's thinking in a 21st century stadium.
