There is a very successful company in Shrewsbury who specialise in this, perhaps a link up would be a good idea?

We are currently looking at all options with regards to energy saving and have also explored the solar power option - at the present time the current figures are suggesting that the bennefit is relatively small in relation to the capital outlay - however we wil continue to monitor this situation as the technology becomes cheaper an energy prices change - The bennefit may increase to a viable level.

Kind Regards

I'd like to see some lighting put down oteley road towards sutton farm, the amount of times I've seen people fall over, mainly kids and at least one old man because there is no light. Some solar lights would work well down that road if they were only turned on match days. Its soon to be getting dark so at 5pm it will be back to playing try not to trip up again soon. something that should be taken up with the council.

And should be taken up with the council by concerned tax payers such as yourself.

A very unhelpful 'nothing to do with me' response :o If fans were not travelling home after watching the team play, they would not be walking this route in the dark - they would be is cars with headlights to show the way.

This is from the PEDESTRIANS section of the official Travel Plan:

“From the Sutton area use the footpath to the traffic signal controlled access road to the stadium”

So it would seem that the Club wants fans to use this route but at their own risk.

I hope that any formal response will be more considerate. :(

Eh? In previous Q&A the club have said that we will bring such things up as a member of the safety group/liason committee etc.

How exactly can we go and dig up Sutton Road and put in lights?
