As we are celebrating our 125 year,who did we first play? if they still exists maybe we could play them in a friendly

The first recording of STFC was its forming on the 26th May 1886 at the Lion Hotel and the first match being at the Racecourse Ground Monkmoor on the 16th October 1886 in which the team beat Wellington 5 - 2 but in 1890 in Febuary the Town scored it's highest ever win that being 18 - 0 again versus Wellington at Amblers Field Copthorne. So it would seem the team we should be celebrating our 125th season is Telford as they are the natural successors to Wellington.
