Ian - I tried the link to 'points allocated to matches' or whatever it said and it seemed to be inactive.

The first test for the Loyalty Points scheme will almost certainly be the Chester away game on Sunday 7 October.

Given the big increase in ST numbers this season, and depending on the ticket allocation the home side allow STFC, demand will almost certainly exceed supply.

The logic of the Loyalty Points scheme is fine and it is certainly fairer than the old Priority Card system which it has replaced.

However, there could be many loyal pay-as-you-go fans who will rue not making the investment in a Season Ticket.

The away end at the Deva is now all seated and I believe only holds 800. We would need half their ground if we are to take 2000, which is distinctly possible I would think.

I remember the conference year when we did take we over 2,000 fan's there and we were like sardine's in the away end and there were load's of town fan's in the chester end and they started to move them over because there were to many in the home end.

Ian, if the data for the early games is available, as mentioned in the loyalty points article on the site, then I feel the club should add these points to fans accounts.

After all there are only a few home games for people to accumulate points before the FA Cup 3rd round draw in December, the first time a sell-out game might arise.

anyone who has bought a ticket should be registered for the points system, if not then when the online system is up and running you will be able to register online

the decision was taken with a lot of thought but what is explained in the last update is how the system will work going forward.

Great to see the loyalty sceme kicking in. Its interesting to note that if you are buying tickets for friends you must register them and tell the ticket office who you are buying tickets for if they want their points. I must do that for next week. Hopefully the online booking system will be up and running soon as well. Good work STFC! :)

Probably not! It took me two goes to register for some reason. If you do have a number it is below your address on the first part of your tickets. There are lots of zeros in front of it.
