Tickets for Stockport away

Could we please have some advice on arrangements for sales of tickets for this game?

For many fans who live outside Shrewsbury, the preceding home match is the only convenient opportunity we have to purchase away tickets in advance.

With the current state of the PA, it is not sufficient to rely on announcements before the game/ at half-time.

So can we have a discipline that a message is placed in the away tickets section of Shrewsweb no later than noon on the Friday before each home fixture?

Thanks.

Great idea, especially for us exiles who can only travel to the Northern away games (Im including Stockport in that), it would alos be useful for loyalty points as well.

Stushrew - you are correct. Pay on the gate.

Does present a problem in terms of awarding Loyalty Points - i.e. no proof of attendance.

If pay on the gate is going to be a common feature for away games, it does raise a few doubts about the operation of the Loyalty Points system.

I don't have an axe to grind as I rarely go to away games.

Those who do make the effort to go to the away games deserve to be rewarded in the pecking order for priority games.

on the point of loyalty points there should hopefully be a full explanation of the ins and outs of that shortly.

Supershrew79 - I bought tickets for the Wrexham away game over the phone yesterday and was asked for membership numbers so loyalty points could be awarded.

Obviously if you pay-on-the day at the away ground for other matches, STFC has no easy means of tracking and recording the purchase.

The ticket office service was great - got through immediately, very helpful member of staff, and tickets arrived this morning. Cannot fault that.

Online ticketing would be nice to have, but I actually prefer the telephone system if it can deliver such excellent service every time.

Thats because you are a season ticket holder! You will always get priority on tickets but you do earn Loyalty points for away games and cup games.
