MKDons

another tough game MKDons form has fluctuated and there home form is slightly weaker
according to the star Riley will be out for at least two weeks Grimmer played a reserve game for Fulham , in the main the team is picking itself town are still been chased by Bury and Oldham so points are vital if you look up the table all the teams above us have a significantly better goal difference however this is a lot better than it was , anything more than a point will be a bonus.
Tyler Roberts will be monitored after suffering from a tight hamstring this is a huge blow whilst i know the whole squad have upped there game this young mans vision and his willingness to cover miles in a game trying to create something is a big factor in our improvment
MKDons beat us at the start of the season so it will be another bench mark to measure how we are doing under Hurst .

prior to this game MKD ons had not scored at home for thre games there home form had been the weakest ,town made the worst possible start by conceding two soft goals as the defense get easily turned and switch off, only a finger tip save kept the score 2-0
town struggled to cope with MKDons pressing them all over the park ,town badly missed Roberts and ogogo and it took 40 minutes before they had a half chance just before the whistle Payne showed his lack of match sharpness by not making more of towns best chance , With MKDons getting 62% of the possession in the first half ,town face an uphill struggle in the second.
a below par and mainly toothless town allowed MKDons to win this on auto pilot .in the dying minutes of the game Humphreys scores a well taken consolation goal , the next three games could have a huge impact on the season as town play charlton ,chesterfield and coventry one things is for town just cant afford another performance like today

we were poor across the board MKDons played better football they contained town and deserved the win.
we have now no margin for error as Bury and oldham close the gap and town drop down a place

We still have 36 points to play for, starting with Charlton and then Coventry both will be hard games like us they are both fighting to stay in div1 there are no easy games.
