town play bottom club Blackpool after losing to a soft too last weeks bottom club Crewe, personally nothing less than a win will do as town face the third game against clubs just above or below us, six out of a possible 9 points will look more hopeful than not.
redshaw and cullen are blackpools top scorers.

Town have lost points for three reason stupid school boy errors in defense, an inability to break down organized defenses and a failure to put away chances in the final third.
we are getting better the new players show a lot of promise and the margins are very tight, it would be a huge boost to confidence to get our first league home win. UP THE BLUES.

Will Collins get a start on Saturday, will he be a lone striker in a formation similar to last week or will he be paired up with another in a 442 or 352?

MM said in the star that he was impressed with Collins attitude in training and wont to play him a suitable game?

Finally someone discovers he has a pair and scores not once but twice to secure a well worked victory. To be fair to other players Mark Ellis also had a good game saving the Town some blushes more than once . At last a home win we can be pleased with . COYB
Jimmy Mack when are you coming back?

the weather was lovely and we get a vital three points against a truly awful Blackpool, just a shame towns performance did not match the weather,at the end of the season how we won wont count however if we are to stay up some things need to be sorted out on the training ground
in the first half town had the bulk of possession the approach play particularly when Cole or kai kai got the ball looked skillful and threatening unfortunately towns finishing was poor , a free header went over the bar five shoots on goal came from powder puff deliveries which was just like catching practice two shoots with pace went a good yard wide that coupled with numerous corners that resulted in no end result as they either looped over every player or went straight to the keeper ,too many times town lacked intensity and were ponderous.it was frustrating to see time after time town gewt on the edge of the box and too many players lack the balls to shoot.
Blackpool showed virtually zero ambition to much of any thing.whilst you could see what Clark was trying to do his distribution was very inconsistent

We were playing the bottom club and they are there for a reason, the game looked to be going to a frustrating draw, when Blackpool forwards must have had a nose bleed as they attacked, our keeper fumbled a nothing ball the forward followed up Goal, much to my disbelief and pleasant surprise it was not allowed, i know keepers are protected but it looked a goal to me.
finally town showed some urgency,Collins coming on added a bit of spark withing a very short period of time JLAA scored two well taken goals one were he nutmeged the keeper the second when he chipped over both showing a lot more compuser in front of goal than he has shown in the past, for the last ten minutes town played keep football to some vocal frustration from the fans who around me wanted more goals.

we have got 6 points out of a possible 9 against teams around us, we should have had all 9, my concern is we lost to a very poor crewe with a very wobbly defense ,we struggled to score against a very very poor Blackpool they look low on confidence ,they lacked fighting spirit and who unless they have a major infusion of talent are going to struggle.

He scored two very well taken goals and showed real composure in front of goal.
